Following the initiation on September 22, 2020, our Chapter welcomed our newest affiliate member

Lisa Diehl

Sister Lisa began her journey in the Masonic family as a member of JDI in Pocatello, Idaho.  Her family moved to LV and she joined Bethel #3 progressing to Junior Princess.  She then married and received her Majority degree.  Lisa graduated from Western HS and is a fourth-generation member of Eastern Star.  Both of her parents and grandparents were Past Matron and Past Patron of Idaho.  Lisa was initiated into South Gate Chapter on 11/28/1988.  She raised two children – Caitlin and Kyle.  Lisa divorced the same year that her daughter joined Job’s Daughters and she became an adult volunteer serving on the Executive Council, most recently as Bethel Guardian.  This summer she was awarded the Degree of Royal Purple in celebration of her work ‘above and beyond’ expectation.

It was through JDI that Lisa met Beth Cary and returned as an active Star member in 2016.  Since then, Lisa has served as Adah twice, Associate Conductress, and now Conductress of South Gate Chapter.  Sister Lisa worked for Seiji Limo Company as a dispatcher.  In 2016, she was hired by Wilson Title Services, part of Holiday Inn Vacations, where she works today with Sister Beth.  Lisa’s passion is jewelry making.  She is a guest instructor at Sweet Beads and most recently enjoys adding ‘bling’ to Covid masks . . . one bead at a time.  Lisa noted that from 1988 through 2017, she would drive by the Henderson Masonic Lodge and think about Star.  We are so happy that she now does more than just ‘drive by’ our Lodge.  Welcome, Sister Lisa!
